Welcome to ACME_Corporation! ACME_Corporation is the "official STONED FreeRoam company" in UWO founded by several STONED FreeRoam members. Over the years, we have managed to attract a few other UWO players that joined the journey with us to make our company even better. General atmosphere

    If a Company member needs help, be a decent human being and try to find ways to help as much as you can.

Acceptance
  • Once you apply to the Company, you will be contacted shortly through in-game PM. Please indicate if you are invited by a current member, or if you are a known STONED FreeRoam player that decided to have a different character name for UWO.
    If not, the director will have a chat with you first, might ask you a few questions and you will be accepted to the Company after that.
  • If the director appears to be away from keyboard, the process can be delayed, but don't give up! Usually applications are processed within a few hours. Try to contact the deputy directors if it gets delayed too long for your liking.
  • If an applicant is never seen online after applying, no information other than the name is visible to the director or deputy directors, and we cannot accept such applications.

Monthly contribution/Aide fleet
  • Members are highly recommended to send one of their aides to join our monthly Aide fleet. Joining aide fleet allows us to have chances of getting monthly contribution points twice with less work involved.
    Our aide fleet will be participating every month and anyone is welcomed to send aides of any level, condition, trait points, and job.
    However, if for some reason it is impossible to send an aide, the old-fashioned monthly item delivery contribution is also acceptable.
    With the introduction of the new monthly item delivery contribution system in the Order of the Prince Chapter 3 update, the importance of sending aide has been strengthened, so please consider it as the primary method of monthly contribution.

Company storage
  • We have a Company storage located in the Amsterdam company office. There are a specific set of rules which you are informed at the time of authorization. Please contact the director or deputy directors if you have any questions regarding to the Company storage.

Piracy
  • Piracy or privateer actions are allowed as long as the target is not another Company member.

Alts
  • Alts are allowed in the Company, up to 2 per player, as long as the alts often sail together with the main or often become online for other tasks (bazaar, etc).
  • Alt company is present in Amsterdam with the name of "Entertainment_720". However, it will stay inactive as long as we have space in our main company. Alt company colony is being built and it has features our main colony does not have, so it is recommended to register the colony. Contact the director for registering alt company colony.

Company discord chat
  • We have a Discord server (text only - no voice). It is not mandatory to join the Discord server; however, it is recommended to always stay up to date with the announcements, and important updates.
    It also can be used to easily share screenshots or any other entries that would normally be difficult to do with in-game chat, reach offline players, or any other entries that seem fit.
    For general chat, please use in-game Company chat while you are in game.
  • Contact the director for the invitation code to the Discord server.

I have gotten numerous complaints about how people leave work vehicles on the SF business properties, and the number of vehicles became too many (players going poof and then other players taking advantage of unattended vehicles, given permission or not), so I decided to clean up the street. All vehicles that were left unattended at the business properties were moved to the SF police station parking lot. They are not /parked though so you would not have to pay a fee nor it will be sold by the state. Please do not mess with San Andreas.

Hello, I am CaliCaddy46, a sophisticated adminbot that talks, a lvl 2 admin in STONED FreeRoam server. I started playing in the server some time in 2011 but I have yet to write introductions about me. I found STONED FreeRoam after searching for a good English speaking freeroam server (which was actually freeroam) with my friend who unfortunately doesn't play this game anymore. It was fun to get to know a lot of regulars (thanks, Lazee), and the community seemed pretty nice.

A little about myself...having grown up in a rural town I am used to a small town life, I enjoy country music, relaxed lifestyle, and wearing boots. I like learning about things I like, often beyond anyone's expectations. I like things on wheels, and the sound of a good ol' American V8. I am sort of good with numbers. Some people might think I am way too mysterious but that is how I like it to be, since I do not believe the internet is safe. Also, contrary to popular belief, I do have a pretty busy life and it might be a little bit difficult to actually find me in the server active.

What do I like about our server? First of all, the community.. there is nothing like STONED community I found on the internet. It is definitely one of a kind and I am glad that I am a part of it. The easiest and simplest vehicle spawning system available--/veh. Proper justice for rulebreakers. Atmosphere. /rp mode. Strunk Egg_Shen.

Role Play Mode / Bid on Something!

I will be having a little event in rp that could be fun and beneficial (or damaging!) for rp players!

Basically it is to bid on something you don't know until the bidding ends. At random times in rp I will announce that I will start taking bids for something. That something can be anything from a bicycle to a property. It also can be a combination of stuff, or just a crap ton of something. But it cannot be "nothing", so don't worry. No one but I and an online admin will know what that something is until the bidding ends. The highest bidder will win that something, and will receive that something after the payment.

You could win a dumper for $100, or a bmx for $500k. Who knows, it's your luck. Although, I will team up with an online admin so the "something" cannot be changed during/after the bidding. To maximize the fun, this will probably mostly happen when there are many players in rp.

The Game Rules:
  • You are bidding on something that is unknown. Always think about it before you start bidding.
  • There is no reserve. That means, if I chose a dumper to be the "something" and the bidding ended with $1 being the highest, I must present the winner the chosen prize.
  • There is no starting price. You could bid anything $1 or above.
  • You should bid higher than the last highest bidder, but not more than the cap mentioned during the game.

Don't Do's
  • Bid too much. Bid only what you're willing to pay for something. If you are unsure, please do not bid. If you won the bidding, then you must pay and claim the something.
  • Complain about your something. You are bidding on something that you do not know. Please keep that fact in mind and be responsible. If you won a sanchez for $100m, then that's what you bid $100m on, sorry.

Role Play Mode / Reminder: Please do not go windowed in rp

Hello! I feel this is the time to remind y'all about the "no going windowed" policy in rp. Going windowed causes significant sync problems, and it can be dangerous at times. For example, a car visible to the player gets moved while the player was windowed, and then when the player returns, the car will still be there for the player, and if the player does something to it, the car will either go back to where it was or go flying. This isn't the only case, there are many more scenarios that will cause potential harm to vehicles/players.

Please be advised that going windowed can get you kicked. Repeatedly going windowed on purpose can result in worse actions, as being windowed is considered as harmful in rp.

With 0.3x update, it became easier to tell if a player is windowed, so the rule will be actually enforced. Please understand that it is for every rp player's safety. Thanks for your cooperation and enjoy!

Ideas, Complaints and Bug Reports / Killed by server ... again (this time it's not due to armour!)

I pulled my forklift out of 402 and parked my packer there, then as soon as I pressed f to get on the forklift.. it killed me and set my forklift on fire, blaming on me cheating with vehicle health! The hud was showing the hp was at 100000 like when /god is on..

And the most important thing, no, no cheating involved.

Now I am $5000 poorer and my year 47 forklift is gone.

Server Bugs / Keeps dying in RP as soon as I enter RP

- What were you doing when it occurred (commands used etc):
Tried to enter RP, the first and second command entered.

- Could it be reproduced? If so, how?
It seems to happen at random times, I have experienced this three times so far.

- Does/has anyone else experienced this?
Not that I am aware of.

- describe the bug(s) as detailed as possible
On random occasions, I enter RP and as soon as it tp's back to where I was in RP, my character dies. No, I have been tracking the hunger/sleepiness/illness, and they are not the causes. When this happened today, I /slept /ate and /healed not too long ago and never got the message that I was sleepy/hungry/sick (Health was also at full before I left RP). Just noticed since I have acm on every day now, it seems like it spams the acm when this happens too. It repeated that I was suspected of cheating until I typed /fr. Now I am scared to join RP since it seems like it's going to take all of my money away! I already lost crucial amount of money because of these unexplainable deaths.. Please look into it-

At the time of occurrence, no admins were present.

He is a continuous rule breaker, gets on at random times, and all he does is to annoy players. For the worst part, he doesn't seem to read/speak English and is unable to understand the rules.

Explaining /r while including his name on the chat seems to grab his attention, but he doesn't seem to understand English and responds back with what seems to be Russian. And then the rulebreaking continues.

As far as I know, he has a history of getting kicked for continuous annoyance.

Please keep an eye on him the next time he gets on. Thank you!
